Draft v1 — pending legal review
This is a placeholder working draft so we can test signup flows during pre-launch. Final terms will be counsel-reviewed before accepting paid subscriptions or regulated-data customers. If you’re evaluating ChangePilot commercially, ask us for the most current version at /contact.
Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-17 (draft)
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using ChangePilot (“Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2. The Service
ChangePilot is a project planning and change-management platform. It uses AI models to generate plans, task breakdowns, and risk analyses from user-provided descriptions. AI outputs are suggestions — you are responsible for reviewing them before acting, especially in regulated or safety-critical contexts.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity on your account. Don’t share a single account across users; use our team features instead. You must be at least 16 years old.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service to:
- Violate any law or third-party right.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that contains malware.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent security controls. Coordinated disclosure is welcome — email us.
- Generate AI outputs intended to deceive, defraud, or cause physical, emotional, or financial harm.
- Reverse-engineer our prompts, scrape data in bulk, or resell access without a commercial agreement.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the project descriptions, task lists, files, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content to provide the Service. We may use anonymized, aggregated signals to improve the product (e.g., which risk prompts produce useful plans) — not the raw content itself.
6. AI outputs
The plans, risk analyses, and suggestions generated by AI are opinion, not advice. They may be incomplete or incorrect. Don’t rely on them as a substitute for engineering, safety, legal, or regulatory expertise. We’re not liable for decisions you make based on AI outputs.
7. Paid plans and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; your plan continues until the end of the current billing period.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and limit our aggregate liability to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
9. Termination
You can close your account any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when practicable. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days; after that, we may delete it.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If the change is material, we’ll notify you by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before it takes effect.
11. Contact
